BAPTIST HEALTH PLAN TO DISCONTINUE MEDICARE BUSINESS – BENEFICIARIES HAVE OPTIONS FOR CONTINUED ACCESS TO COVERAGE
As of January 1, 2018, BAPTIST HEALTH PLAN will no longer offer coverage of Medicare Advantage benefits to our Medicare members in the following counties:
Allen, Barren, Bourbon, Butler, Boyd, Calloway, Clark, Edmonson, Estill, Fayette, Garrard, Graves, Greenup, Henderson, Hopkins, Jessamine, Larue, Lawrence, Logan, Madison, Marshall, McCracken, Muhlenberg, Nelson, Oldham, Pulaski, Scott, Shelby, Simpson, Union, Warren, Whitley, and Woodford.
If you are a current member, you will no longer be enrolled beginning January 1, 2018.
BAPTIST HEALTH PLAN has launched an orderly process to discontinue its Medicare Advantage business and is committed to providing continued stability and coverage for existing customers. Company leaders are committed to ensuring BAPTIST HEALTH PLAN members have access to the coverage they need.
In the coming week, beneficiaries will receive notification via U.S. Mail from BAPTIST HEALTH PLAN with details regarding this orderly transition of coverage.

Baptist Health Plan Advantage is a HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in this plan depends on contract renewal with CMS.
